TRAFFORD In 2005, DTL was commissioned by Trafford DAAT to undertake a review of substance misuse provision in the Trafford area. The main remit of the review was to examine the performance of the Tier 2 and 3 substance misuse services in Trafford. Numbers in treatment - Appropriate matching of treatment to need - Planned discharges - Structured group work - Local Public Service Agreements (LPSA) - Drug Intervention Programme (DIP) - Integration of all service provision - User satisfaction - Access to Tier 4 services - Unit costs The methodology included interviews with key stakeholders, review of relevant documentation and assessment of services against models of good practice. The final report highlighted the key findings and made recommendations to the Trafford DAAT to assist commissioners in making strategic decisions about the provision of services. “As the chosen consultancy, DTL took a strong leadership of the project, provided us with an operational delivery team and came in on target. We also had added value tips on stretch targets and insight to how other DAATs tackle some of the more difficult areas of performance management.” |
